the newsletter
n. 1 — october 2013
our new site is now online
We took our time and did it right. The new website reflects our physical space as closely as possible, evoking the same atmosphere produced by the mix of essential design — clean, unfussy and refined — and vintage pieces that add warmth to the experience, just like in the store. This is just the beginning, of course. Even though only a small selection of products is online, we'll be adding new items every week. The site will be constantly evolving. Stay tuned.

There's lots of news, so we decided to publish this monthly newsletter to be able to keep you up to date. Occasionally there will be special events and we'll use this mailing list to send out invitations. (There's an unsubscribe link in the footer if you no longer wish to receive emails from dep.) The opening hours of the store have been extended from 9:30 to 13:00, and from 15:00 to 19:00. Saturday we'll be open all day without interruption. (We're closed Sunday and Monday morning.)

new products

New products, literally hundreds of them, are starting to appear on our shelves. Each article has been carefully selected to fit in perfectly with my style and the other items in the store. I have also been careful to have a large selection of affordable articles that sacrifice nothing in terms of esthetics or utility.

the dep dep design store blog
If you are anything like me, you find inspiration and new ideas in town, while traveling, in nature or snooping around the web. the dep blog is the place where I occasionally write about my reflections, feelings and questions in search of answers. I am interested in a dialog with my readers about different subjects through an exchange of thoughts and ideas in a non-commercial setting.
dep + social networks
The dep design store boards on Pinterest are our photo albums. There is not a single image on our boards that was placed there without conviction. They have been selected from a huge number of images, the result of hours of research. I will be constantly adding new images.
Of course, we are also on Facebook, a place where we share news, links and dep events. Since we are trying to gain more visibility, we'd appreciate your "likes" on our page. Thanks.

Before closing this first newsletter, I wanted to thank the people that have helped me and continue to support me in this project: Howard Liptzin for having translated my vision for the site into reality, Emanuele Jabes for his support, Alberta Gamba for her continued collaboration and professionalism and Lisa Colagrossi, my new entry, for her great enthusiasm and abilities. — doriana de petris
